Community Solar Catching On

Yesterdays New York Times article on community solar sheds light on the solar industry’s effort to make solar energy accessible to all, regardless of whether or not your roof is well-suited for panels. Although our project isn’t mentioned in the article, the Harvard Community Solar Garden is the first project of its kind in the state and Solar Design Associates is very excited to have played such an integral part in its development.

The ribbon cutting for the garden will be held on Friday, June 27 at 10AM. The address for the project is 285 Ayer Rd. in Harvard, Mass. To register for the event and joint in the celebration follow this link. The event is free and open to the public.

Come join representatives from the Mass CEC, DOER and Solar Design Associates, as well as Harvard Solar Garden members to learn more about the project and see it up close as it produces clean electricity. We look forward to seeing you there!
